Latchingdon Pre-School.

Our aims at Latchingdon Pre-School are;

* To promote positive and high quality education provision.

* To provide a safe, secure, and stimulating environment where the child is central to our ethos.

* To ease the transition between home and Pre-School the Pre-School and School.

* To meet the needs of all individual children.

* To ensure all children and their families have equal opportunities and access, regardless of race, religion, gender, abilities, or beliefs.

* To support each individual child's all-round development and to encourage each child to become independent learners.

* To support children to communicate and make friends with the adults and other children in the pre-school.

* To encourage parental/carer involvement within the sessions and work in partnership with staff to assess the child's progress.

* Through our assessment, reflective practice and learning journey records, each child will receive individual attention and guidance to enable them to reach their full potential.

* To provide the opportunities and experiences, through a carefully planned curriculum and through observation, the children's interests, to enable all children in our setting to work towards their Early Years Foundation Stage individual goals and progress their learning experiences.
